Progress over Perfection:
Progress over perfection is more than a statement. It is a life’s work. I try to spend every day making sure that I learn, grow, love, receive and give a little better than I did the day before. Perfection can be the North Star, but it can also be the thing that ruins us. Having self awareness that perfection is impossible, and progress is the compound effect of incremental improvement each day. Try it… you will see it happen in your own life in front of your own eyes.

Important vs. Urgent:
Urgent means that a task requires immediate attention. These are the to-do’s that shout “Now!” Urgent tasks put us in a reactive mode, one marked by a defensive, negative, hurried, and narrowly-focused mindset.
Important tasks are things that contribute to our long-term mission, values, and goals. Sometimes important tasks are also urgent, but typically they’re not. When we focus on important activities we operate in a responsive mode, which helps us remain calm, rational, and open to new opportunities.
